The next major event for Sikhs is the Tri-Centenary ofthe establishment of the Khalsa Republic in 1710 whichwas heralded by Baba Banda Singh ‘The Brave’.The MPSA is committed to this project.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur is renowned as one of, if not the, greatest Sikhs ever. His sacrifice is unparalleled.He was the modern day fighter against Islamic extremismand terrorism.

Furthermore, there are a series of national seminarsorganised by the Sikh Education Council, UK, on BandaSingh ‘The Brave’. The first of which is the ‘Bristol SlaverySeminar’ to commemorate the abolition of feudalismin the Punjab by Banda Singh, coupled with the abolitionof slavery in the UK.
